REMEMBERING RICK MORGAN

Rick Morgan was a family man.  He was not only my dad but also my business partner.  With my mom Barbara and their combined family of 6 kids, they gave us a home full of laughs, a little chaos but most importantly, love.

Rick became a realtor in 1989 and would spend years being in the top 10% of agents in the Fraser Valley.  He'd go on to recruit his son Matthew and myself and form the Morgan Group.

In 2011 we brought this business to Mackenzie and fell in love with the town and it's residents.  Mackenzie welcomed these two big city realtors with open arms.  Rick continued to do what he loved and sold real estate up until the day he passed, making it over 30 years of being in the business.

Over the years as I worked by my dad's side I would notice how much people respected him, trusted him and valued his advice and professionalism.  He had some dear clients that had grown to be lifelong friends.  His office space was a revolving door of clients and friends looking for real estate advice, for an opinion on a non-realestate related matter, or merely to have a coffee and catch up.
Anyone that knew Rick, would know that he had a warm, genuine personality, a quick and sometimes twisted sense of humor and a big heart of gold.

His wealth of knowledge and big personality will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on through his wife, 6 kids, 11 grandchildren and all those that knew him.

"The loss is immeasurable, but so is the love left behind."
